We know when we make photo copy of a doc or use printer to print, the unique ID of the machine gets printed that is invisible to naked eye.
So can we use similar technology in the screen shots or video taken by mobile phones? Now-a-days most of us have mobile phones and most of us use them in negative purposes. For ex: exam paper leaking, private moments spent with a gal etc.

And then our wicked brain makes them viral. But if such technology could be implemented so that when a video is taken or a snap is taken then the source Mobile IMEI or mobile no would be automatically stamped and when sent to others that number too would also be passed. And hence the outcome is obvious.

Er, no.

While theoretically possible, I think there would be a public outcry. And it might violate privacy laws in some jurisdictions.
