Nicholas Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Gravity is a cosmology. If space-time curvature is positive everywhere then we live in closed universe. It curves back on itself as a seemless whole. As Einstein said: finite but unbounded. Hawking is in agreement: The No Boundary Proposal. But there is a problem. Its if Hawking starts the universe out without gravity. He has to because if he includes the gravity it would make the universal singularity a black hole without any possibility of expanding or inflating. Its infinite gravity would prevent it. There was no original mass singularity at the Big Bang. Instead matter was created spread out with a finite density. This is why the Big Bang's gravity was finite; and therefore why inflation could take off. Matter was created seperated by an original energy buildup. A mindlesss lump of matter is not the Creator of the universe.
ydoaPs Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 i'm not gonna touch this one. "silly creationist, the bible is for kids"
Nicholas Posted July 12, 2005 Author Posted July 12, 2005 The bible is only a book. I can take it or leave it. I could even throw it in the garbage!
ydoaPs Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 a stereotypical creationist who doesn't use the bible, but ramndom quotes that are out of context....odd. you have even less to go on than the other creationists...funny people today
Ophiolite Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 yourdadonapogos, ignore this twerp. He can't even structure his arguments, or write in concise english. He's beneath you.
Daecon Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 There wasn't a singluarity because all of the matter took up ALL of the space, unlike today's singularities which are in only one point of space.
Bettina Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 i'm not gonna touch this one. "silly creationist' date=' the bible is for kids"[/quote'] You touched it......Tsk Tsk Tsk. Bettina
ydoaPs Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 if you would look, none of my posts are about the topic of his spam.
Jacques Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Always supprised to see that some people belive in creationist. I am not sure but I think it is thaught in school in Texas...
Nicholas Posted July 13, 2005 Author Posted July 13, 2005 Anybody care to look at what Einstein had to say? I see I am in good company. BTW anybody have a better physics than original energy buildup that creates the original matter? I've pointed out why singularities don't work!!!
radiohead Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 Always supprised to see that some people belive in creationist. I am not sure but I think it is thaught in school in Texas... No, it's not. I am glad it's not. I would end up seriously pissing off some people if it were by proving 3/4ths of the stuff they say wrong... I live in texas.
Moopy Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 why is it so important to you what Einstein said? sure he was a smart man with weird hair... that doesnt mean that everything he says is true... u should try looking for other evidence and hard evidence instead of just using peoples quotes.. (imagen if Einstein believed in santa claus...would you too??)
BobbyJoeCool Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 what? santa isn't real?! Sorry, but it's true. As much as you may want to deny it... Santa isn't real. But that doesn't stop people from believing in him... hmm... this reminds me of something else...
