Gian Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Hydrogen-1 (protium) is an isotope of Hygrogen yeah? It has one proton in the nucleus and one circling electron? So is Protium just another word for hydrogen itself?
swansont Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Yes. It's another word for that particular isotope. If you just say hydrogen, you are not specifying an isotope, and the implication is you are talking about whatever natural mix that you have. 2
