Skye Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 15 year olds have the attention spans of a gnat, by the time you've had a couple of dates you'll no longer co-ordinate with their taste in clothes/music/hair and they're off to date a biker or something.
AzurePhoenix Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 In many cases yes, but among some girls, the promise of love and a serious relationship can can take root in their head, cause them to make unwise decisions, lead them down paths they shouldn't. I just can't stop thinking of the emotional damage it could cause.
michael37607 Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Hmm, dating a 15 year old girl...first let me suggest this: first find her father and tell tell him your plan for his daughter. Then I would next suggest running.
ps2huang Posted July 20, 2005 Author Posted July 20, 2005 That is not sad. Then how do you explain to me the situation of Tom Cruise and katie Holmes? Tom dates this young babe and still, no criticism occurred.
ps2huang Posted July 20, 2005 Author Posted July 20, 2005 katy holmes is 261[/url'], not 15. Well, oh ok. Suppose that I am 24 and I try to date a girl who is 15, I can teach her many things that I learned in college and universities and life; after all, when she turns to 18 or 19, we can discuss being love-mates. Isn't that nice?
Dak Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 why would you want a romance with a 15 year old? why not just wait untill you happen to meet someone you like, and then get to know her better, and fall in love etc and who preferably is older than 18? when you find the right person, youll know you can trust her if she sais shes a virgin you may even descide that her virginity or otherwize isnt that inportant.
Aardvark Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Well, oh ok. Suppose that I am 24 and I try to date a girl who is 15, I can teach her many things that I learned in college and universities and life; after all, when she turns to 18 or 19, we can discuss being love-mates. Isn't that nice? I think you would probably find it more fufilling to date a girl who is a bit older, maybe 18 or 19. She will be more emotionally and intellectually mature so helping to give you a more meaninful relationship. A girl of 15 will be too young for either of you to seriously know what the longterm potential for your relationship could be. Instead you would be spending time with a child and hoping that when she develops, she develops into someone you would like to have a serious relationship with. Rather than taking the risk of making such a big commitment to someone too young for either of you to be sure about your relationship it would be better to date someone who is more mature. I think you would both find that much more fulfilling and natural.
Bettina Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Well, oh ok. Suppose that I am 24 and I try to date a girl who is 15, I can teach her many things that I learned in college and universities and life; after all, when she turns to 18 or 19, we can discuss being love-mates. Isn't that nice? No...it isn't nice. I think your just into young girls and wouldn't surprise me if you pushed your "requirement age" to 12. Take it from me, your going to have a big problem with dads. When I was 14 I was getting hit on by seniors calling my house. My dad was incensed to say the least. I could feel his blood pressure climb. He even reported the boys to the high school counselor. I can't imagine what he would have done if it was you calling. Bottom line, you don't sound very intellegent at all. Bettina
Phi for All Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Well, oh ok. Suppose that I am 24 and I try to date a girl who is 15, I can teach her many things that I learned in college and universities and life; Before you turned 15, were you interested in anything a 24 year-old wanted to teach you? At that age you have enough to learn going into high school, dealing with kids your own age, so why would you be interested in learning about someone's college and life experiences? after all, when she turns to 18 or 19, we can discuss being love-mates. Isn't that nice? You're dreaming, or fantasizing really. In your own words you said most people don't adhere to the age-of-consent laws. And there really is a big difference between two 16-year-olds experimenting with adult relationships and a 24-year-old college graduate dating a 15 year-old. Why would you want to deny a normal high school experience to someone you cared about? Would you be happy going to high school parties? Would she feel comfortable with your college friends?
ps2huang Posted July 20, 2005 Author Posted July 20, 2005 Oh ok. how about dating girls who are 17 or 18? And i think 19 and 15 are quite close, why are you guys so surprised?
Bettina Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Oh ok. how about dating girls who are 17 or 18?And i think 19 and 15 are quite close' date=' why are you guys so surprised?[/quote'] I'm surprised that you think 19 and 15 are quite close. They aren't even on the same planet and I know that for a fact. I have a suggestion. Why don't you go to some teen forums and tell them what your telling us....I'll be willing to bet you won't like what you hear, and for good reason. Try this one for size. http://www.christianteenforums.com/index.php Bettina
ydoaPs Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 15 and 19 aren't close. i was dating a senior when i was a sophomore(major cool points, btw). i was 15 and she was nineteen. it just didn't work. you try to think that it isn't that big of a difference, but it is.
AzurePhoenix Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Me being nineteen, I would like to express my sheer shock that you (ps2huang) would compare girls my age to those pathetic little nosewipes you want to seduce (no offense to you younger teens out there). They're children. Even I don't know what the hell I'm doing half the time, and even at my age it would be safer just to stick to someone no more than two years older, maybe one year younger.
ps2huang Posted July 21, 2005 Author Posted July 21, 2005 You guys forget one point: Women tend to be more mature than men, no matter mentality or physic. And I did not say I will have sex with those young girls; my point was to cultivate them as their big brother, and when they get mature enough, I will go further. So I try to be friend with them, until the very moment that they are adults or older, then I will express my feeling toward whom I really love.
AzurePhoenix Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 You're pyschotic. "Cultivate" ???? We're not plants. And I thought you were seriously tweaked when I thought you were just going to be wooing these girls. Now posing as a friend with an off-chance of molding the perfect sex-toy? You need help. Women tend to be more mature than men, no matter mentality or physic In certain ways, I was always infinitely more mature than my peers, but even at fifteen, I WAS STILL FIFTEEN!! I was still just a smart-mouthed little girl with cynical mean streak and deluded fantasies about what love might be. We're no more mature than boys, we're just really good at faking it.
atinymonkey Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 And I did not say I will have sex with those young girls; my point was to cultivate them as their big brother, and when they get mature enough, I will go further. Oh. My. God. That's wrong on so many levels. You have serious issues. Don't look for people to validate your fantasy. Sort yourself out.
Aardvark Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 And I did not say I will have sex with those young girls; my point was to cultivate them as their big brother, and when they get mature enough, I will go further. So I try to be friend with them, until the very moment that they are adults or older, then I will express my feeling toward whom I really love. Please don't do this, it would be a serious mistake that could end up causing a lot of pain and trouble.
Skye Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 ps2huang, I think instead of trying to read women's minds, or picking a girl and watching her like a hawk for years, you need to find someone who you trust.
AzurePhoenix Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 What ps2huang needs is to fall in love with a man. That's probably the only way he'll ever treat a lifemate as an actual human being.
MetaFrizzics Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 i was dating a senior when i was a sophomore(major cool points, btw). i was 15 and she was nineteen. "You lucky, lucky b******!. Someone must think the sun shines out your ***" - Life of Brian (fellow prisoner) Okay, 15 is too young, and 19 in California means you've sailed every porn studio casting-couch in town (twice)... Let's split the difference, and say 17: old enough to know all the tricks but not confident enough to charge the full price.
Dak Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 ps2huang, do you consider a 15 year old female to be an adult or a child?
