Youss27 Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Hi all, When eye retina send impulse to brain, brain then use data from impulse to create impression of color. What is this final process called? What should I Google for? I can not wrap my head around the transformation of data to world impression....
Strange Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 There are multiple stages to the processing that takes place. You could try googling for "visual system" or "visual cortex" or "image recognition" These might get you started with the general principles and structures involved: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_system https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_neuroscience_of_visual_object_recognition And if you start getting into the "meaning" of what the brain sees, then you might want to read up on "qualia" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qualia)

Perhaps you can find some helpful keywords here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_system x-posted with Strange
