Assuming that you mean that the light is polarised at the source, rather than at the slits. In fact, I think light will only interfere with light of the same polarisation.

John Cuthber Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 What happens if you split a polarised beam, rotate the polarization of one half (say by passing through sugar solution) and then recombine them? Can they interfere?
