Olive oil doesn't mix with alcohol.

You could try a different solvent like isopropanol.

What are you trying to achieve?

Q: What are you trying to achieve?

Ans: I want to make fragrance.

Fragrance of what? Did you mean perfumes instead? Then methanol and isopropanol are definitely not what you should use.. Smell of isopropanol is causing headaches and vomits. And that's just the beginning.

"Isopropyl alcohol and its metabolite, acetone, act as central nervous system (CNS) depressants,[29] and around 15 g of isopropyl alcohol can have a toxic effect on a 70-kg human if left untreated.[30] Poisoning can occur from ingestion, inhalation, or skin absorption. Symptoms of isopropyl alcohol poisoning include flushing, headache, dizziness, CNS depression, nausea, vomiting, anesthesia, hypothermia, low blood pressure, shock, respiratory depression, and coma.[29] Overdoses may cause a fruity odor on the breath as a result of its metabolism to acetone.[31] Isopropyl alcohol does not cause an anion gap acidosis but it produces an osmolal gap between the calculated and measured osmolalities of serum, as do the other alcohols.[29]"

Are you reading references that we're giving you at all? Part of the answers for your many questions, can be found on Wikipedia pages of compounds that you want to use, straight away..

ps. IMHO, you should not use (on this forum) word "alcohol" rather "ethanol". Alcohol is too ambiguous. There are many alcohols, many of them toxic and poisons (including ethanol, but it's large lethal dose in comparison to the others).

I love the smell of isopropanol. I really miss it. I never knew it was so toxic!

#MeToo  :D  Sensei is talking about industrial exposure though.

Whilst there are doubtless those sensitive to isopropyl alcohol, I don't think it is as dangerous as Sensei thinks.

It is the normal active substance in antisceptic wipes (around70% is common), otherwise known as rubbing alcohol.

As such it is rubbed onto the skin and even into puncture wounds.

It's most dangerous characteristic is probably that it is inflammable.

My experience of influence of isopropanol is from dry ice Cloud Chambers.. To run CC once there is used 5-20 mL of isopropanol.

A single whisky contains about 10 grams of alcohol and has a measurable toxic effect on a 70Kg human.

Most of the essential oils used in perfume are much more toxic than than ethanol or isopropanol.

Use of the word "fragrance" in that way is perfectly legitimate.

You are not in a position to lecture people on use of English.

I can't help wondering who thought that post should be marked down.
Perhaps someone pushed the wrong button.
