Ondrej Janicko Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 Hi, I discovered reverse Fibonacci sequence. Can you comment me what you think and what math value have this discovery? The article is in attachment. Thanks. Reverse Fibonacci sequence Short - Ondrej Janicko.pdf
studiot Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 How does 9 + 8 + 7 = 6, which appears in line 16 of your table?
Ondrej Janicko Posted November 24, 2018 Author Posted November 24, 2018 It is suming the digits in numbers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digit_sum

Following the example 9 + 8 + 7 = 24 You need to provide further explanation.
Ondrej Janicko Posted November 24, 2018 Author Posted November 24, 2018 (edited) You have to do digit sum till to number less 10. 9 + 8 + 7 = 24 -> 2 +4 = 6 Suming the digits in numbers in table is always repeating till number less 10. Edited November 24, 2018 by Ondrej Janicko
studiot Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 (edited) Why, you didn't specify that, nor did the example I quoted from the Wiki article ? Be aware, as a new member, you have a total of 5 posts in the first 24 hours. Edited November 24, 2018 by studiot
Ondrej Janicko Posted November 24, 2018 Author Posted November 24, 2018 (edited) Well, the Wikipedia article is only for ilustration. The core principle I described above. It is repeating suming digits till to number less 10. That is all. Simple and clear. Is't it? Edited November 24, 2018 by Ondrej Janicko

Yes thank you, it is now simple and clear what you are doing But Wiki clearly did not do that Quote (e.g. the digit sum of 84001 is calculated as 8+4+0+0+1 = 13). In particular they did not add 1 + 3 = 4
taeto Posted November 24, 2018 Posted November 24, 2018 So you are only interested in the congruency class modulo 9?

I am interested in Fibonacci sequence and it reverse follower. The congruency class modulo 9 is only tool which I used for derivation reverse Fibonacci sequence.
