Itoero Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 In many mosquito-species the mouthparts of the females are adapted for piercing the skin of animal hosts and sucking their blood. Which mammal has the same diet as those female mosquitoes? I hope it's not an easy question. 1

CharonY Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Depends on whether OP means sole diet or not. If so, the answer is pretty straightforward and has been answered. Perhaps more interestingly, East African jumping spiders indirectly feed on blood, by preferentially preying on female mosquitos who have just fed. The vampire finch is also an interesting example of diet evolution, though blood is not their sole source of nourishment.

John Cuthber Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 Nobody asked about what eats humans My point was about what humans eat. Did you understand that and post something deliberately irrelevant (which is called "trolling", btw)?
