I bought dry yeast and blood for Elephant toothpaste experiments.

Where should I store yeast and blood to keep the catalase intact? Can I put it in a freezer?

catalase- present in blood- does a good job of catalysing the decomposition of peroxide.

I'm guessing that frozen is good

I've noticed that freezing (blood and yeast) preserves the catalase, but not all of it, maybe freezing makes it less potent.
