Teodora A. Bejenariu Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 (edited) More specific CRISPR tools are advancing, do you think we are approaching a new era in gene editing? Edited March 6, 2019 by Teodora A. Bejenariu
peterwlocke Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 but it is in English. he is saying know that we can do more stuff better and cheaper with crispr do you think gene editing will come into a new era.

To treat diseases there is this technology they insert nucleotides that bind with mRNA to prevent mRNA from binding to a ribosome and transcribe harmful proteins. But with CRISPR you can edit genes and prevent mRNA from subscribing unwanted proteins. I'm wondering if such technologies will interact somehow with CRISPR.

It's a tricky path, complex systems are prone to emergent properties.
