brickman7713 Posted April 20, 2019 Author Posted April 20, 2019 Sorry the post submitted before I finished, this is the question. An audio speaker producing a steady sound at an outdoor concert is 42 ft away from you. If you move to a position where the speaker is 70 ft distant, by what factor will the amplitude of the sound change?
Carrock Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 (edited) Also, are you aware of the relationship between the amplitude and the intensity of a sound wave? Hint: they are not directly proportional. Edited April 21, 2019 by Carrock added hint 1
