DARK0717 Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Is it possible to direct lightning to something? Maybe bombarding an area with a line of opposite charged electrons then maybe lightning (or high voltage e-) can be directed to something. In other words, using e- as a projectile or a weapon or something... you get the idea.
Bufofrog Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Yes, it can be done and is done quite a bit to study lightning. I do not know about weaponizing it though.... Lightning Rocket There are some youtube videos that show these rockets and the lightning they 'capture'.

studiot Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 It may interest you to know that one lightning bolt directs about 107 Joules of energy. This is the same as about 10 kg of high explosive (HE) 26 minutes ago, DARK0717 said: lol

Sensei Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 ... the better is to not have enemies.. and not make any enemies...

Im just wondering how, since the most powerful projectile there is, is available for free whenever there is a storm and yet we cant use it against our enemies (the ussr perhaps lol)
