Bennyh Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Hi, I'm a new teacher and want teach about endotermic reactions to make chemistry lessons to be funnier. I'm searching reagents for endothermic reactions. The reactions should be follow with the followings restrictions. Restrictive conditions: 1. The reagents and the products must be safe for health (after all it is for kids :)) 2. soluble in water (not have to be very soluble) Optional conditions: 1. One of the reagents should be made from resin (with reactive functional groups). 2. There is an option to inhibit the reaction. (and what is the option?)
John Cuthber Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Do you mean endothermic? I'm fairly sure that the reaction of bicarbonate of soda with vinegar is endothermic.
Bennyh Posted June 5, 2019 Author Posted June 5, 2019 yes , Soda and Vinegar is endotermic. i forgot to add another conditions 3. product and reagents must to smell good 4. the temperature drop should be for long range
