capacitors ?

ok new to this build i have made my tesla coil and got it working but not very well ,,i am lost on the capacitor bank .how much i need in the way of nf and voltage . i used a program that says i need 8nf to rum mine but, what i dont get it i see people with big mmc and high voltage   .. so what is the best way to get the nf i need with high voltage my first coil right now only has 15oo volts at 4 amp going in ,, i am waiting for a couple parts for bigger any help would be great
