Curious layman
I'm confused, the obvious answer is click remove or go on manage search history. But your previous posts make you out to be pretty smart, what gives? This a trick question? Or do you mean the history of your posts on this site? They don't delete posts I'm afraid, PM a mod and ask if it is.

Does the history come from brower or from somewhere else, such as a google account?
Sensei
Search net for "how to clear [name of browser that you are using] history". e.g. https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95589 for Google Chrome. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17438/windows-internet-explorer-view-delete-browsing-history for Microsoft Internet Explorer Edited August 13, 2019 by Sensei
StringJunky
TO CLEAR YOUR ENTIRE SEARCH BAR HISTORY: -Open an Internet Explorer window and select the gear icon in the top right-hand corner. -Select Safety > Delete Browsing History. -Select History, then select Delete. LaurieAG
Get CCleaner Free and clean out your IE/Edge cache etc when you clean up whatever browser you are actually using as they pick up crap even if you never use those browsers. https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download. Ghideon
I did a test to verify my idea above: Search history in google while logged in on google account (used for gmail etc), plenty of entries: c Log out from google account (gmail) and clear browser history. There are no entries in search history: Log in on google again, then there are entires again even if browser history was cleared (I have hidden the text due to privacy since the order of entries was not the same): So I insist, check what online services that are in use and if any of them keeps history (like google above) so that it is not enough to clear the browser history. In the case of google, check the history and history settings on myactivity.google.com/myactivity.
