Alright then whats your favourite movie villan?

I'd have to go with "Bill the Butcher" from Gangs of New York

But the T-1000 is a close second.

So what is it for everyone else?....

but from what film?

I like the guy too, he`s a good actor, my best fave villian actor would be Jack Nicholson, he RULES!

so what role for C.W was the best?

(I recon the one where he played that Angel in a series of 3 films)

I actually liked Alan Rickman in 'Prince of Thieves', didn't Kevin Costner put a lot of effort into his English accent...!!!

Christopher Walken in True Romance is also up there...very cold.

Gary Oldman in Leon was also great...so many to choose from.

I'll stick with Alan Rickman, though I thought he was rubbish in Dogma, albeit he wasn't a villain.

Cube Zero (Has anyone seen it? It's the third movie in the cube trilogy, and at the end you realize it was the prequel... kind of like Star Wars)

The man with the false eye and the cane... the best villain ever.

I'm stuck between Darth Vader (post molten-pit) and Sauron (prior to his loss of the Ring[/i']), even if the latter didn't get a lotta screentime...

Is their a story about Sauron before he lost the ring? (Will the similarion answer that question?)

Another awesome movie-baddie...the Tripods from "War of the Worlds." I know, I know, lots of people hated it for some reason, but those things were awesome.

EDIT: Never mind. A simple Wikipedia search has proven me wrong yet again. Curses  !!

Yes. The Silmarillion covers the first age of Middle earth when Sauron was a young pup. There are also companion books like Morgoth's Ring and Sauron Defeated that expand on the origin stories. On top of that, Tolken produced a number of books detailing the history of Middle-Earth, which expand on the events in Lord of the Rings .

T1000 (the only one I can think of off the top of my head).

Another great villian - the "director" in the Truman show (if you count him as one).

INCREASE THE WIND - FULL ON STORM - DO IT!!!

Henry Fonda Sr. in Once Upon a Time in the West. The only Western of notice in which he reverses his usual role, and plays the best and meanest bad guy in any Western ever. (Fonda is usually a hero/marshall).

A real movie about actual men, not wimpy punks. It has every great Western actor in it except (notably) Clint Eastwood. The whole thing is a surrealistic piece of legendary Bigtime Hollywood spagetti Western in its final polished form. Every character gets his own introductory scene. One of the best roles and characters Jason Robards got to play. The enigmatic mystery hero is a 'young' Charles Bronson. A Slow bigger than life movie that sucks you in and rivets you for 2 hours.

The interaction between Fonda, Bronson, and Robards is intense and legendary screen magic of the caliber of Casablanca.
