Welcome aboard Alfa.  That is an interesting subject.

In 2013 New Scientist magazine had this article about "the closest earth-like planet."

"Based on the distribution of red dwarfs in the Milky Way, Dressing estimates that a potentially habitable planet is only 13 light years away."

But since then, have red dwarfs been demoted in likelihood for habitable planets, since red dwarfs "flare" too much for their narrow Goldilocks Zone, which is too close to the red dwarf?
