What a shame I live in a city, there's too many lights around. All I can really see is the constellation Orion when it's in season, and Polaris.

I saw the meteor shower thanks to this thread. Thanks yt I wouldnt have known. It was cool. Not the craziest one I've seen but the most colorful!

It's been raining all week here...which implies coulds. Didn't get to see anything even though I've known about it for a while. Oh well, there's always one in the middle of december I think. Just have to dig my way through a few feet of snow and find a good spot to lay...

ya its was a northern hemispere shower.

yeah, the nasa website said that you would be able to see it from the southern hemisphere but at greatly reduced rates
