zkutch Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 (edited) Tried to insert Tex formula, but without success. Sorry, but how to write here tex formulas and how to delete topic? n \in N Edited May 26, 2020 by zkutch
Strange Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 To write Latex, you need to use the [math] tags. For example: [math] n \in N [/math] Gives: [math] n \in N [/math] (Note there is a bug in the software and you will have to refresh the page to see the result) ! Moderator Note Moved to The Sandbox
zkutch Posted May 26, 2020 Author Posted May 26, 2020 Spoiler Spoiler Thanks, but [math] tags gave me nothing - I choose also "insert code" and experiment with "HTML", "STEX/LATEX" , but again no success.. [math] x \in X [/math] Spoiler

iNow Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 He almost certainly forgot to refresh as strange directly advised

If you made mistake in Latex code, then have to quickly edit post. There is limit for how long you can edit posts.
zkutch Posted May 26, 2020 Author Posted May 26, 2020 iNow Thanks for answer, you are right. Obviously I forgot refreshing, maybe, because this is my 1-st theme here. Sensei. Thanks. Editing post has restricted time or writing? And question: can I delete post? how? can I move it to something like sendbox (how)? Is there somebody written doc about these everything?
iNow Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 You cannot delete your posts. Your ability to edit a submitted post goes away after about 20 minutes Moving posts requires moderator access

There are a few posts with some general help at the top of this section of the forum: https://www.scienceforums.net/forum/28-suggestions-comments-and-support/ And a guide to Latex here: https://www.scienceforums.net/topic/108127-typesetting-equations-with-latex-updated/
