Hans de Vries Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 What causes them? Are they caused more by structural changes in the brain or more by neurotransmitter abnormalities? A drug that was to be the first to target negative symtoms of schizophrenia (roluperidone) has just failed phase 3 trials.
YeBlessChildren Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) too many variables to figure out. depends on those, epigentic factors and genetic factors as well. too complicated. they will never solve schizophrenia, or much more (as currently understood) alzheimers unless they utilize a combination of many different drugs catered to the individual (meaning different formulas for everyone), or use a completely different strategy for early detection, or a different approach altogether to the diseases. will never happen, and there's not enough time left anyway. YeBlessChildren Posted February 14 Posted February 14 it is quite obviously often easy to predict what will not happen, as opposed to precisely what will.

Do you have any evidence that supports your "prediction"? The methodology can lead to surprisingly strong predictions, and it's one of science's best features, but it requires evidence to back it up, to make it meaningful and trustworthy.
YeBlessChildren Posted February 14 Posted February 14 not going to discuss that here, but it's somewhat transparent if you thought conceptually about the framework of what I said...and sometimes the people with 3% of the information get it 99% right and vice versa. -1
YeBlessChildren Posted February 14 Posted February 14 methodology being ironic, or if not meaning...what?

Yes, so hath spoken the High Blargleptarch who announced that this world's end would fall on a Tuesday, in late 2025. Anyone who thought conceptually about the message framework will understand how relaxing each Wednesday through Monday will be, given over to enjoying all manner of earthly delights while they are still there.
