Maxpowernap Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Hey there. I’ve held the pen weird ever since I was a kid, and a few years ago I noticed that I’m missing a joint in my thumb. Both thumbs, actually. It’s the basal joint. There’s no pain or anything, perfectly functional (except people text faster than me), and my sister has it, too. I’ve searched the internet but can’t really find anything conclusive. Any ideas? thanks in advance! cheers, max
iNow Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Have you checked the closet, or maybe a drawer full of random stuff? I often find things I’ve lost in those. Try retracing you’re steps
CharonY Posted August 5, 2020 Posted August 5, 2020 That is silly. Everyone knows that once the drawer is full, something inside will just jam it shut forever. I had to move twice to regain drawer space. With regard to OP, am not a medical doctor, but you might want to search the literature for congenital thumb anomalies and check if something fits the bill (or bring it up with your medical provider).
