Hello guys. IM new, i joined becasue im working on an invention but need some help.. ok my question is, is there anyway to divert electricity of of a main wire, to power electrical magnets, that make a central piece of metal spin, wiht out using any more elctricity. or is there another way, via heat/light to power magnets making a central point spin. Or is there a way to use magnets to make metal spin? Thanks! ..and the metal thing im spinning is like a veritical axle, spinning a metal disc.

Yes, you can make magnets with electricity and make metal spin. It's called a motor. All you do is replace the permanent magnets in the diagrams with some coils.

Don't necessarily give up on a perpetual motion device:

All you really have to do is keep it in motion perpetually, and you win!

Examples of real perpetual motion devices:

5th planet from Sun (destroyed, but it would have been one).

The Universe (Is anyone going to accuse God of failing to build one?)
