Yeah, I think we should all start playing a game where you have to try to dodge God's hand... I mean, it can't be everywhere at once! Althogh I spose there's another god-theory allowing that!

Actually, as god is everywhere then his hand must also be everywhere.

take the following equasion:

h/g = d.

where h = number of locations that gods hand occupies, g = number of locations that god occupies, and d = % of occourances of god that has a hand.

as god is everywhere, then g = infinity. If we assume that his hand is not everywhere, then h must be a finite number. Therefore the equasion becomes:

d = finite number/infinity = 0%

so, in none of the infinate positions in space that the omnipresent god exists does he have a hand.

however, god made us in his own image, so, reverse-engineering an image of god based upon us, god must have hands, and so the above statement cannot be true, ergo gods hand is everywhere.

Whats that you say? but god doesnt exist?

Well consider this: if gods hand is everywhere, as we have just proven that it is, then what is attached to it?

Thats right. god is attached to gods hand. ergo quarat et demonstratum, kaniniae.

hello!

has anyone thought that god did not create us in his image but that we created him in our image. its like the question what came first the chicken or the egg?

Well not really...if we created God in our image, and we for arguments sake are the chicken, and we conceived the idea of God (the egg) then the chicken came first.

If God conceived us, then we would be the egg and the chicken came first again.

The chicken and egg question has had philosophers stroking their chins for centuries ! :)

The egg came first, because the first creature to evolve into a chicken, it's parents where not infact chickens as they hadn't evolved yet...

(Please ignore the fact it's written in dumb "hadn't evolved" I'm feeling very lazy :P)

evolutionists say nothing about god scientifically, the head of the human genome project is actually a bit on the religious side. Evolution just says that organisms evolved from simpler ones because that is the simplest and most logical conclusion coming from the evidence. It is entirely possible that god gided every single mutation to ever occur and was guiding life towards humanity, but because there is no evidence for this its not science and is instead a matter of belief.

Science however has to be agnostic, anything other than that wouldn't be scientific

that would be a great addition to the bible.

"and then god created apes, but then he made them grow into smarter apes, and then into apes that could walk and talk. And he called these apes 'man.'"

Dak, I think that was better than the article. I've always found equations a very helpful tool in understanding complex principle.
