flyboy Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 well guys i have a confession to make im 14 and i hack
insane_alien Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 sigh, it is a spoof. it is making ridiculous claims about what makes a hacker. it even misuses the word hacker. the descriptions above mean that every single teenager in the world would be a hacker. even if they don't own a computer.
ParanoiA Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Absolutely hilarious. I love it. I'm going to print it and circulate it at work tomorrow. This will be interesting. I especially loved the whole AMD bit.
bascule Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I don't get it. http://redwing.hutman.net/~mreed/warriorshtm/necromancer.htm Necromancer has a supernatural ability to bring long-dead forum discussion threads back to life. After having been flogged to death the thread may have been deceased for many years, and bringing it back may have scant relevance to the current topic, yet Necromancer will unexpectedly exhume the thread’s rotting corpse, and strike horror in the forum as its grotesque form lurches into the discussion. The monster, instantly recognized by all who knew it in life, seems at first to breathe and have a pulse, but, alas, it is beyond Necromancer’s skill to fully restore the thread’s original vitality. The hideous apparition may frighten away some of the weaker Warriors or Warriors badly wounded in former battles, but the thread is only a shadow of its former self and very quickly expires. Unlike Archivist, Necromancer compulsively saves every forum message in carefully preserved archives for future use in battle, while Necromancer collects departed threads merely for the thrill of resurrecting them. Some say he performs this unnatural act out of malice, others say he can’t help himself, but no one really knows.
Realitycheck Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 No Way!!!!! This guy is totally stupid, calling Linux an illegal hacker program and so forth. Surely, this is the type of guy who cuts out missing child pictures from the milk boxes and keeps them on file to share with his friends so they can keep a look out.
Pre4edgc Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I especially laughed at the Doom 3 comment... You can get that on XBox! ROFL
MrSandman Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I started reading this and was totally convinced that this guy was inrefutably insane. If it wasn't for hackers there wouldn't be any fun on the internet, like I figured out how to delete my sisters' email accounts. I didn't do it, but it's nice to know that you have the power.

That's not hacking.
swansont Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 11. Does your son resurrect 2-year-old threads?
1veedo Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Wow this is old. I made a post here in 2005 and frankly I could slap myself. I would rather not read my old posts.
ydoaPs Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Wow this is old. I made a post here in 2005 and frankly I could slap myself. I would rather not read my old posts. Nor do I want to read my old posts, although I did so today for some reason.
ydoaPs Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Also old and boring, can we leave it be? I don't know. Can you?
JohnB Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Also old and boring, can we leave it be? Awwww, but I missed it first time round.

Scientia Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 This was read on The Screen Savers a while back. It's a joke, as has been stated multiple times in the thread. It's also been passed around the internet for many years now. The real worry here is that some parents really feel like this.
