The unique gene B is less expressed and the gene B mRNA is only 0.3% of the total amount of mRNA. A leaf cDNA library and a genomic library represent the entire genome. 1000 clones from each library are hybridized with a probe from a small piece of the ORF of A or B (corresponds to a partial exon).
