studiot Posted February 26, 2021 Author Posted February 26, 2021 (edited) Thanks joigus, there used to be a T junction like that in Bristol at the end of the M32 which read "Inner Ring Road Left" and yes indeed "Inner Ring Road Right", at least the arrows were pointing the correct way. I've also seen an old fashioned finger post when cycling in the Cambridge countryside which had the same motif Cambridge and Cambridge. Anyway, when I took my driving test I thought this one meant Marilyn Monroe ahead. Edited February 26, 2021 by studiot

No way to get lost that way, unless you're a flat-Earth advocate... 14 hours ago, MigL said: Marilyn Monroe ??? ( someone was born in the early 50s ) So what if so? Don't tell me you're a covert ageist. Marilyn Monroe never gets old.

I think Mig's photo for the avatar was taken some decades ago. 🙂 15 hours ago, MigL said: Marilyn Monroe ??? ( someone was born in the early 50s ) Well to tell the truth, I only just made it into the 1950s. Unlike my elder brother who was a genuine child of WWII.
MigL Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Nothing against M Monroe, I would think some buxom and more contemporary lady would come to mind. Claudia cardinale in the 60s ( I was still in Italy ) Raquel Weich in the 70s. Dolly Parton in the 80s. Pamela Anderson in the 90s. Katie Perry in the 00s. Scarlett Johansen in the 10s. 2 hours ago, studiot said: I think Mig's photo for the avatar was taken some decades ago. Yeah, but he's still vertical, and still making great movies.
