Sepehr Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Hi, What is the PH of the solution resulting from the mixture of 15mL of H2SO4 0.12 mol/L with 17 mL of NaOH 0.25 mol/L? What Will be the new PH after addition of 5mL of NaOH 0.25 mol/L? Could someone help me do this exercice? Or just give me the formula? Thank you.
BabcockHall Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Please show your attempt. If you can, please explain where you got stuck.
Country Boy Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 First, do you understand how "pH" is defined? Everything depends on definitions!
studiot Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 I'd say it starts with writing down and understanding the reaction equations, noting that H2sO4 is a diacid. Have you done this at least ?
