CPL.Luke Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 wikipedia.org most of the stuff you need will be there. If its for a test, your textbook would probably ocntain some good info.
qwerty Posted August 24, 2005 Author Posted August 24, 2005 we have to research of the net- our teacher sucks man. we havent learnt anything all term all its been is assignments- so our exam is on stimulus response.
CPL.Luke Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 ah, well wikipedia will have everything you need and more.
timo Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Wikipedia is often a surprise considering what´s in there and what´s not. One day you might find a small note about exotic physics like the susy partner of the graviton, the next day you aren´t able to find any information about some basic term of mainstream physics (can´t remember what it was, something spinor-related, I think). The next day you find a very detailed and very good article about a german terrorist group. Always good for a nice surprise but nothing to rely on. Sorry, I don´t know any good resources for electricity. You did try a google search, did you?
CPL.Luke Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 basic stuff they're good at though, like electricity, the articles on the various kinds of power plants are very good. (speaking mostly of the articles related to nuclear power)
qwerty Posted August 26, 2005 Author Posted August 26, 2005 -electrocution -electrical effects on humans -electromagnetic effects on humans -electrical radiation and its effects on humans basically we gota research and write up why we believe that there are more benefits to electricity in the world than the downsides to it (those that we have to research above) are there any good websites comparing the advantages and disadvantages of such things?
CPL.Luke Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 two or three of those things don't effect humans anyway the wikipedia articles on them should be good enough for you, if you need more information I would suggest google as these are rather specific information requests
