If we lived in a world where everything was free, and you didnt need to work in order to get food, a house etc, but things (like litter collection, running hospitals, building new houses etc) still needed to be done, would you still work?

Vote for all options that are applicable, and remember to vote for one of the first two options to give an overall stat for the amount of people who would work.

Vote is annonymouse, so you can reveal your lasy-ass spongyness without fear of reproach :D

I voted

"but not as much as I currently do"

&

"a fun job, that I enjoy"

Looking again I shoulda voted for "I would still work", oh well, it'd get boring doing nothing! And nothing useful would ever be invented or developed, as long as I enjoy it and I have the freedom to do it when I like I'll do it.

I wouldn't work. If everything was free I would spend all my time perusing personal pleasure. Although I am pretty selfish, I must say that I find any body's answer who says otherwise a bit suspect. It is much easier to say you're not selfish than it is to not be selfish when the situation arises.

I plan on going into a field I love immensely anyway (zoology), and I already work for free volunteering on weekends at a wildlife center. For me it's more about the experiences and the learning, not the paychecks.

Do electrons themselves have a factor where they, like people, are lazy?

Do we as people have electrons?

Do electrons ever stop working?

Do electrons like less resistance?

Do people like less resistance?

If an electron had a choice to do less work, would it?

If people had a choice to do less work, would they?

Do electrons and people both take the path of less resistance?

I'd still work, but not as much. Just for a bit to keep myself from going nuts. I didn't work for a while this winter (when I joined this site), because of a car accident, and was very bored (not to mention broke).
