Hi everyone!

Maybe the title is confusing: I'm looking for a common/commercially available small compound (if possible, a molecular rotor such as thioflavin and its derivatives) whose quantum yield increases with the solution's viscosity but not with the pressence of amyloid particles.

In case anyone's wondering, I'll be using it as a negative control for amyloid staining, this is why I'd rather choose a cheap or commercially available one.

Regards!
