Hi

My situation at present is that I use a large MD player to record my lectures.

It's really too large to carry in my pocket to listen to music as it has inbuilt speakers etc.

I have 2 real choices I can either get a digital media player, playing hopefully mp3 and ogg vorbis files, which would not support my powered mic so I'd have to carry my md player in my rucksake for recording lecuters.

OR

I could get a hi-md player that would allow me to record my lectures and fit in my pocket so I could use it for listening to music. But this would mean converting all my music into atrac, but would allow me to easily to swap out my music collection with other disc's :(

Oh what to do, what to do :|

Do you know if they support powered microphones? Which is why I am not listing a digital media player as a recording device, I checked their website to see if I could email them but gave up quite quickly :(
