The clarity in the second photo is amazing.

Has the JWT taken any shots of mars surface? Seems it could take the best shots of every planet in our solar system first, then look out yonder.

JWT and Hubble are reflectors, and I think, irrc, and these are more suited to panoramic, widefield views.

Cool photo of Mars; a telescope focused on our solar system and just past its outer limits would be cool to. Capturing images of every single object in our solar system, to the point of identifying every asteroid in the asteroid belt, will be a super landmark in human civilization.
