Guest mcyi2mr3 Posted July 20, 2003 Posted July 20, 2003 In a particular retail store the average price of a typical two-seater sofa has been £200 and average sales were 1000 per year. This year the store has run a half price sale on such sofas and found that sales increased by 50%. Question: Find a hyperbolic model for demand in terms of price.
atinymonkey Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 Hey, there was a guy asking the same question in the statistics group. Why not go ask if he got an answer? Science Forums » Mathematics » Statistics » a question of hyperbolic models
Dave Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 I'm also moving this over to stats as it has nothing to do with calculus as such. 1
