PeterBushMan Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 A 19-year-old built a flight-tracking Twitter bot. Elon Musk tried to pay him to stop. https://www.protocol.com/elon-musk-flight-tracker#toggle-gdpr Anyone knows how to make a flight-tracking Twitter bot?
Sensei Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Quote How does Jack Sweeney track Musk’s aircraft? ..you must be smart.. Programmers solve problems such as these every day.. Check how Flight Radar works: https://www.flightradar24.com It does the same thing, but for all aircraft. If you know the aircraft's unique identifier, you can even use Flight Radar data. How to get a unique aircraft identifier? Find out from social media what a person is doing, where is in a few days, weeks, and analyze Flight Radar history..
TheVat Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 I guess why anyone would want to track Musk is another question. Is there anti-tracking software that would entirely remove all Elon Musk news from any news outlets I'm browsing? Even better, software that allows me to target Musk with a Rothschild XP-42 Orbital Laser the next time he shares one of his stunted adolescent gibes and/or Dunning Kruger Effect opinions via social media.

Make your own web browser extension which scans for specified text which you don't want to see. Here is example project: https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/write-your-own-browser-extensions/ Add, for example, the display:hidden attribute to the entire paragraph with specified text, and it will disappear (but still take space).
