However, the grandeur and spiritual status of Ghaus al-Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani is beyond all other saints and Fakirs. He is the vicegerent of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) outwardly as well as inwardly. Shaikh Shahab ad-Din Suhrawardi quotes Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani’s saying about his extremely exalted status and describes it as following: Every saint is spiritually connected to and a follower of a prophet. And he is the vicegerent of that prophet. Such as, someone gets acquainted with the attributes of Prophet Moses, while others are blessed with the attributes of Prophet Jesus or Prophet Abraham.
