studiot Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 An article on tonight's news about a lad who left his university course to start his own business doing exactly what sensei (+1) mentioned in another thread. On 3/27/2023 at 12:24 PM, Sensei said: Very cheap, uses the same stuff as a 3D printer, so it's readily available. It's such a 3D printer at hand (gluegun can be used too!). (an electronics engineer uses gluegun for everything) The right way, withstanding much more: 3D scanning/reproducing the original object in a 3D application, and then printing it. 3D printed laundry rack connectors + some metal tubes.. can be made for a fraction of the price of the original thing in the store.. Then sell 3D project, and you can earn more than ever in your life.. Apparantly Nurdles are small plastic pellets that are used as a feedstock, but too many escape into the environment, causing havoc. This lad has made a machine that vacuums up stray nurdles cleans and processes them as new feedstock. The new article showed successful trials in the most nurdle polluted foreshores in Britain. A boost for environmentalists/conservationists, https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en-GB&source=hp&biw=&bih=&q=nurdle&iflsig=AOEireoAAAAAZCstnc6diqpUKPS2JRLwU0REk3y8r0tF&gbv=2&oq=nurdle&gs_l=heirloom-hp.3..0i512l2j0i512i433i131i10j0i512l5j0i512i10j0i512.1768.4648.0.6328.6.6.0.0.0.0.254.916.1j4j1.6.0....0...1ac.1.34.heirloom-hp..0.6.912.0HX6awL7JxI 1
TheVat Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 And giant feedstock boats that suck up floating plastic in the oceanic gyres, like the North Pacific Garbage Patch, would also be a welcome innovation. Or just ban all the plastic crap. Which would mean the petrochemical industry unleashing the Hounds of Hell upon all who dared challenge them, so....never mind.
Sensei Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Sorry, but your Google link goes nowhere for me.. I have the Greenpeace website with information on how to catch nurdles on the sieve on the beach..

If an Englishman in the UK types XYZ into Google, you get something different than if ABC from anywhere in the world gets.. My "nurdles" gives different Google results than your "nurdles".. ..or do you want me to use Tor/VPN first...? I could do that.... I would have to shut down my computer first and start Linux.. (I just ran Windows to watch TV, with a USB Tuner because of the events of that day) Edited April 5, 2023 by Sensei

Sure but I bet it gives more than just the greenpeace result. And I'm also sure you know how to massage google searches to widen the spread.
