Bio-Hazard Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I'm sure if you've been around the Internet a bit you know what I'm getting at. Scienceforums.net has many people here but it doesn't have all the boards on a forum like scienceforums.com On scienceforums.com you have many different types of boards but everything is so squeezed together and hard to read. Not only that but you can't have your own avatar on sf.com I was wondering what all of you thought about both websites though. It seems that scienceforums.com is more active, but scienceforums.net seems to have professionals who know what they are talking about. I often see new members coming here but I seem to be more drawn to sf.com because the majority of people there seem to have a grasp on science and discussing things and building on top of them more and more. What do you think about both websites?
ydoaPs Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 when i try scienceforums.com, i get a 404. if you like science forums, try PF(physicsforums.com)

ydoaPs Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 that's nothing.......many of the members that pay like to go around in invisible mode.
CPL.Luke Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 seems like scienceforums.net has more active users, as well as more posts etc. 3000 users at scienceforums.com nearly 6k here 60k posts there, 200k here etc.
ydoaPs Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 seems like scienceforums.net has more active users' date=' as well as more posts etc. 3000 users at scienceforums.com nearly 6k here 60k posts there, 200k here etc.[/quote'] out of the 6k users, the VAST majority of them have less than 5 posts. many of them haven't posted at all.
