ydoaPs Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 grrr.....it keeps plugging in 9 for x. like when i'm doing integrals, direvatives, sums, products, limits, and such, it keeps doing it. i pushed "x store x:", but it just kept it 9. what do i need to do? also, y is 8, but the rest of the variables are just variables.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 I only have a TI-83+, but I'd reccommend going into memory management and deleting the X variable. I have a program that runs at startup and clears all the variables. Unfortunately I don't know if it would work on an 89.
calbiterol Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Don't reset it. I have a Ti-89 (NOT titanium) and there's a function that allows you to delete variables. That's what you want to do - clear x, y, etc. On the normal 89, you can either clear all the letter variables, or you can delete individual ones (DelVar x would clear x).
