Knowledge Enthusiast Posted November 22, 2023 Posted November 22, 2023 What if the speed of causality is the way it is because space is quantizable. Space is like a patchwork of chessboard. Light is the queen and she moves unimpeded through one chess board at a time. Can physicists chime in on this?
iNow Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 I didn’t realize causality was a vector quantity.
Knowledge Enthusiast Posted November 23, 2023 Author Posted November 23, 2023 @iNowSearch "speed of light is not about light" on YouTube can click the video by PBS Space TIme to learn about what I'm talking about. I don't have a university physics degree so that video is the best way I can reply to your comment. I am just a humble, young, and creative philosopher. I don't know if what I'm asking is useful, but I'm interested to hear the discussion.

Can physicists chime in on this? As a definite non-physicist, I have noticed that the chess queen is impeded. She can only move at fixed angles, in increments of 45 degrees. Light can move in any direction. Maybe in space the "squares" are spheres ?
