However, as a beginner in quantum mechanics and computing, I am struggling to understand the complexity. Could someone please explain the basics of quantum computing, its present uses, quantum algorithms, and limitations? It’s extremely expensive still and requires extreme cooling, so is only in use in a tiny handful of research and intelligence applications, but it allows for a massive capacity for computation at speeds previously unachievable.
