Trying to throw conversational curve balls all the time gets very tiresome.... use very sparingly. Keep on the track, mate. As it relates to the topic and my interlocutor @Moontanman this best describes the situation, My karma ran over your dogma. Quote "My karma ran over your dogma" is a wordplay that represents a willingness to experiment and break free from preconceived notions. The wordplay is based on the fact that "karma" and "dogma" rhyme, and the phrase is a play on the saying "my car ran over your dog". Karma is used to describe a more relaxed approach to life, while dogma is the opposite. All I was trying to do is explain the value of acceptance in a balanced 'world view' and by extention a more philosophical approach to life. IOW my moment of awe (doesn't match other's), which for me happened when I said to my dog, who was obviously disapointed when we walked past the turning of her favorite route, "you wouldn't be so disapointed, if you didn't expect to go that way.". Unfortunately, I don't speak dog either... 😣 11 hours ago, Mordred said: Please don't bring me into this discussion. The other discussion has nothing to do with this thread. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs and personal opinions. One shouldn't judge others when their opinions or beliefs run into conflict with others. For the record I'm not precisely blameless in that discussion either and fully admit I could have handled it better. Anyways AFIAK it's resolved and we both moved on. Apologies, it's a habit of mine to automatically add an at when referring to the members of our little club. 🙏 Edited May 29 by dimreepr
