sirp Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Hi! I need some help from somebody, who has English mother tongue. My wife has to write her thesis for the University in English, and she can make max. 20 mistakes in grammar. So is there anybody, who takes on to check it in grammar way? Just read it (approx. 50-60 pages), and correct the grammar mistakes. Thanks in advance! Sirp (from Hungary) peganrobert@yahoo.com PS.:sorry for my poor English
mezarashi Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Honestly, I think you need a professional editor. 50-60 pages. Unless you really have a good friend, most people would charge for that.
Dave Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Also depends on the content. But yes, you'll probably have to get someone to pay to read it.
sirp Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 On other forums I have found at least 5 people, who check it for free. sirp
sirp Posted October 5, 2005 Author Posted October 5, 2005 j_p its title is: "A CORPUS-BASED SYNONYMY ANALYSIS OF EIGHT ADJECTIVES EXPRESSING POSITIVE APPRECIATION" Bio-Hazard It's a great link, thank you.
mezarashi Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 correction:http://www.writingforums.com/ A very nice resource indeed. Although I guess you can't be sure of the quality of the editing, heck it's free in any case. One thing though, I'm not sure where I should post if I wanted someone to go through the grammar and integrity of my upcoming works. Don't want to post in the wrong section If you could point that out, it'd be great, thanks.
