Planckestein Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Well folks, I have one really simple question. What will be the acceleration of a body at its highest point in vertically upward motion(Not a projectile motion, only in the Y-axis) will it be 0ms-2 or -g or g ?
MigL Posted August 13 Posted August 13 (edited) I thought it was going to be a trick question, as the velocity at the highest point is 0. The acceleration, other than at the launch, is always -g, downwards. ( depending on convention, an upward moving body has negative acceleration, while, if falling, a positive acceleration ) Edited August 13 by MigL
