Can science find God

John John

Recommended Posts

Can science find God, I found God after finding science.

What leads most people to God is the wonders of the world, the very things that science tries to make sense of.

Whatever facts that science delivers only show what God has achieved.

Without knowing how and why we can still know it is.

Most people who 'find' science have no further need to find God.
I suggest you never did 'find' science, because science provides a very clear path for making sense of the world, without invoking mystical beings.

Your posts are sufficient proof that you need to do a lot more searching to find science.

Specific question: How do you know that is what leads most people to god?

I speak to other Christians and they tell me that.

You won't hear it from an atheist.

What leads people to the particular god they worship is the cultural environment in which they grow up.

And that is an empirical fact.

Or do you know of any person who grows up in Yemen, spends all their life there, and somehow ends up worshipping Ganesha, or the Christian god?

I must say, you do put up a very good argument. I almost turned my back on God.

Which one(s)?

How can it be measured?

If you find God you can measure Him in your heart.

People hear of God from others as they grow up irrespective of culture and people see the world around them as they grow up with their own eyes.

I can only talk from a Christian perspective, if other religions have no respect or love for God's creation it's not my problem, is it?

Should I look at the inferior vena cava or the circumflex artery perhaps? What diameter means god is there, or is it perhaps a certain color?

Maybe I’m looking for a penis since you called it him?

Are you saying there’s a penis in my heart? Is it erect, or about to climax?

This strikes me as blatantly inconsistent with what you said in other thread. How did you put it? Oh, yes...

In every atom of one thought the whole universe is contained.

Or something like that.

Please, make up your mind.

What you just said is completely incoherent and sounds silly.

I think it depends on the faith of a science fan.

science studies natural phenomena that occur in creation, but how does creation exist?

if a creator exists, science is a part of creation obviously but realistically speaking it's work/'favorite game'

for christians.

I believe in jesus and science for example. I don't need anything(I've creation and science, strongly excuse me!!)

Learning any field of science is work and it helps if it is a passion and a job.

I think astronomy and biology are the two biggest areas of science that attract Christians.

Christian scientists are far more common than many people believe as most stay quiet about their faith.

I believe a true Christian is blessed with insights and knowledge as a gift.

So you have a bias in your analysis.

No, science cannot find God. God does not lend themselves to such material discovery.

I don't know what bias you refer to, and I never said science can find God.

Very obtuse of you. Can’t tell if it’s deliberate, but…

This is why people accuse you of trolling. The statement above, and this:

You  asked a question in the first post, and I answered it. By saying “I never said science can find God” you are implying that I suggested you did. It’s not a response made in good faith. You should be aware of your own statements, particularly ones made so recently.

Quote

bias

 noun

/ˈbaɪəs/

/ˈbaɪəs/
  1.
[uncountable, countable, usually singular] a strong feeling in favour of or against one group of people, or one side in an argument, often not based on fair judgement

(my emphasis.)

There. It takes two neurons to understand this. Either you are an 11-year-old, and not a particularly brilliant one, or you are being disingenuous on purpose, and therefore intellectually dishonest.

Yes, you are correct I may have overstepped the line again so you have my sincere apologies.

You still haven't answered my question as to saying I am biased. Why.

You must read what I said and keep it in context. You read like an 11 year old.

Do you speak from a scientist's perspective if so you must be biased as well. Goes both ways.

Being a Christian is an extra quality, not less quality.
