StringJunky Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 I have a 36" x 24" photograph. What would be the optimum resolution to scan it at so that the file natively prints at 18" x 12" without sampling again? I presume a photo printing shop's printer prints at 300dpi.

Expand It’s a factor of 2 smaller, so scanning at 150 dpi will translate directly to 300 dpi printing. 1
