The Primary decides in 3 days. Nicky Halley was a UN ambassador and most qualified. I don’t care if you voted for Harris. I don’t care if you voted for Trump. I have tried to only discuss the issues without insults. It is politics no one is right. Of course everyone thinks they are right it’s their own thoughts. At the gym there is almost fist fights when someone brings up the President race. At church each person thinks the other candidate means the apocalypse. Friends of mine might not have voted because of the candidates. Remember I never said who I voted for or if I voted. I never said I was white or middle class. Those demographics only matter to the evening news. People or different races and different gender gave the thumbs up when ask if they were voting for Harris then voted for Trump. I will start to be less political on the message boards. I sill would like to discuss the bitcoin and U.S. currency though. I am more concerned with the simple yet interesting post. Read my last status update where I approximate the unknown SemiPrime factors. So far Bitcoin’s main use is crime. And hiding money transfers. If there was a way to defeat the digital signatures it would be transparent. 1

Certainly not anything that’s been supported by outside sources. (“Outside sources” not meaning citing someone’s opinion)

Also, in Iowa and New Hampshire Republicans gained supermajorities, in Michigan Republicans control the house and in Vermont and New York Dems lost the supermajorities. As a whole probably still status quo, but unfortunately the status quo as a whole favored Republican efforts on State levels.

Yes, that's one spark of hope. If the effects are felt at grass roots quickly enough (which means if enough damage is done to enough people - not a pretty basis for hope) and attributed correctly, in spite of the Trumpites' stranglehold on communication media. Both are uncertain if's, especially the second: public tv and radio will have been shut down - sold off as scrap to Bezos and Musk; outlets with a modicum of objectivity will have their licenses yanked. And scapegoats aplenty will be offered to the angry mob.

And scapegoats aplenty will be offered to the angry mob. An important step to imposing authoritarianism is to strangle the dissenting media. The other step is to mess up the system enough, and then appear to be the only one to be able to fix it. Then, the public will accept anything better than what they are in at the time, which will be the new dictatorship's agenda. At that point it will be a fait accompli. How will he shut down public tv and radio? How will he sell something the federal government doesn’t own?

He has no power at all. Now. Putting his people in key positions and having an invertebrate house of 'representatives' and a pocket supreme court will give him all the power he's always craved. Remember, none of this is his own plan; he only has grudges, fancies and whims. He's just a door-stop. It's the long-range plan of very much more intelligent and evil men. They will find a way to silence everyone who disagrees with their agenda. Edited Wednesday at 03:21 AM by Peterkin
