Yesterday was that day that keeps triskaidekaphobes at home, but perhaps a thirteen lurks in every Friday.  How?

I suppose one could look at the letters of the name?  Once you solve Bill Oldfield (not an actual famous person AFAIK, it is just about a letter or group of letters that might convey something), you may see how the Friday part could be approached.  It is not about counting days or anything like that.
