Will you compensate me for the devaluation of the currency and worsening inflation ? Add your own messages below.

toucana Posted Sunday at 05:12 PM Posted Sunday at 05:12 PM Quote "This is your President speaking - the greatest president in the history of the USA. Have you not been paying attention ? We are going to abolish income tax completely and replace it with 1000% tariffs on everything - Tariffs my favourite word ! In future no one in U.S.A will be relying on Social Security or Medicaid - because it won’t exist any longer - we are going to abolish all of that stuff as well - and it’s going to be beautiful ! Next week I’m gonna sign an executive order banning inflation and making free eggs available to all MAGA supporters. The rest of you left-wing jerks and woke radicals can migrate to Gaza or Greenland — or jump in the Gulf of America for all I care. And the week after that I’m gonna sign an executive order repealing the Law of Gravity so my good friend Elon Musk can start building spaceships with anti-gravity engines. And the USA will take over and colonise Mars .. we’re gonna build this beautiful golf course and holiday resort there called Mars-a-Lago..and the Martians are going to pay for it all… plastic straws… flush 15 times… .. and it’s all gonna be beautiful…."

John Cuthber Posted Wednesday at 11:36 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:36 AM Dear Mr President. Maybe the guy who thought launching a car into space was a good idea is not perfectly qualified to identify wasteful spending. Also, what do you plan to do when the other 50% of Americans discover that tariffs are paid by the citizens of the country which imposes them? And finally (for the minute), if America was too cold to hold your inauguration outside them you certainly don't want Greenland, it's f%^&*&ing freezing. Yours etc 1

They significantly increased their military spending and used the extra funds to give more weapons to Ukraine for defense. It’s not entirely unreasonable to think Trumps focus on Greenland was a negotiation ploy intended to gain leverage and get Denmark to pull back their huge levels of support for Ukraine and help Putin.

Possible but does not explain why he wants Canada. Wanting other people's land is what Putin does. So he may just have the same ailment as Putin & desiring other countries' land is a marker.

I think you are right: he sees everything in terms of his notions of business, which are largely those of a real estate crook, and through the lens of global competition with China. Territorial acquisition is very much to his taste. Even in the case of Gaza, he sees it in terms of a real estate play, for building seaside casinos and hotels. The ethnic cleansing of 2 million poverty-stricken people from their ancestral homeland - not to mention the issue of where the hell they would go, if they are not exterminated by the IDF - is of zero concern. With similar lack of concern for its population and nationhood, he has thrown Ukraine and its brave leader under a bus. That's because he wants the war to stop, on his extortionate terms, to get at its rare earths. He wants Greenland for similar reasons and casts a greedy eye on Canada's resources too. He and the people around him also hate the EU passionately, because they see it as an economic rival built on a very different social model from the devil-take-the-hindmost one they like to promote - a model which, by the way, is very convenient for billionaire tech-bros. For the benefit of its citizens, the EU regulates business, including social media and data gathering on the population by US internet giants. So the EU must fail. Empowering Russia to attack its eastern borders is therefore to be welcomed. These ideas are far easier to implement if domestic opposition is neutralised. After all, they represents the overturning, not only of 80 years of US foreign policy but the basic ideals of respect, fairness and morality that go with upholding the rule of law and respecting national borders. At home, the soft coup is now well in progress, with Congress neutralised, the courts ignored, the media cowed and state employees subjected to a Stalinist terror by Musk. DOGE is sacking vast numbers of them arbitrarily and furthermore encouraging them to inform on one another, as a means of sowing internal suspicion and destroying any attempt to resist. The stated goal in Project 2025 is to replace those sacked with those loyal to The Leader, the first interview question no doubt being, "Do you agree the 2020 election result was stolen by Biden?" I wonder how bad it is going to get before "why this is happening" even gets studied. I think it was a line from the last "The Day the Earth Stood Still" to the effect of "At the brink, we change." Hopefully, change will start at the brink & not in the ashes. DT may like dictators now, but he should study the issue for his own sake. Hitler planned to attack Japan. So genocidal actors will turn on each other without hesitation. Allying with one is as almost as bad as becoming one. 8 hours ago, CharonY said: t was mentioned that Canada is interesting due to availability of resources. However, that is not normal behavior. US leaders usually don't seek to acquire other countries. It is pathology. So my message would be to study the issue from all angles, scientific, religious, all of them & don't become like others that succumbed to becoming a tyrant. Some people find out they have an ailment & change their lifestyle. Some can & some can't.

Allying with one is as almost as bad as becoming one. The first step, surely is for independent-minded people and what remains of the independent press to stop being mealy-mouthed and deferential and call it what is it: an authoritarian coup (a "soft coup", because it the army is not participating). I was pleased to see Martin Wolf in yesterday's Financial Times saying this for the first time. He also articulated, for the first time in print, my own suspicions that in future free and fair elections must now be in doubt. Wolf also sees this as an example of "state capture", in this case by the tech barons. None of this is what people elected Trump to do. It is Project 2025, which Trump disavowed on the campaign trial but is now in full swing, with Trump having appointed its leading lights to powerful positions and executing its programme.

Externet Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago Good morning mister president. What is your vision for Gaza and Greenland belonging to the U.S. ? Are them to become others Puerto Rico or assets to trade for else ? In four years when you be replaced by your successor; what reversals will you hate the most ? By the way, is Puerto Rico on your sight ?

Quote Further, there are a number of congressional districts where Republicans won by only a small number of votes. With the Republican party in the House having only a three-vote majority we can defeat draconian, anti-working-class legislation if just two Republican members of Congress vote no. And they will vote no if we rally their constituents to demand that they vote no. Can Trumpism be defeated? Absolutely. Here’s how » Senator Bernie Sanders 1
