wat duz it mean wen u have an organic compaound that says like m- dinitrobenzene or p-nitrophenol or p-sulphonamide? the little prefixes i mean

o - ortho - next to each other

m - meta - one C atom between the groups

p - para - two C-atoms between the groups, at opposite sides of benzen ring

Alcapr, can you please do something about your spelling if only out of respect to the other readers here, this isn`t the 1`st thread and post I`ve seen it in, I also know that you CAN spell because you Have done in the past!

no one`s asking for perfection, just a little more effort.

Please use normal grammar. What you are producing here is not even a normal sentence :-( . I agree with YT that some respect for your audience would be very nice.

There is no rush to get your posts here on the internet. The five extra seconds you take spelling out words and using proper grammar will not kill you. Instead, it may actually help you get answers sooner and from more people. I know that I personally won't bother helping out someone who 'onley types wen he want 2'.
